La mwcwcopaiba è un'mwdaoleoresina ottenuta dal tronco di diverse mwdqleguminose mwdgsudamericane del mwdwgenere mweamweqCopaifera.cite-ref-1[1]

È inoltre il nome comune di diversi alberi della famiglia delle leguminose in mwfwAfrica, mwgaAmerica centrale e Sudamerica.

Contiene mwggterpene e trova utilizzo nella fabbricazione di lacche e vernici; viene utilizzata anche nella produzione di mwgwbiodieselcite-ref-2[2] vista la resa di 12.000 litri per ettaro all'anno.cite-ref-3[3]

Trova diversi utilizzi nella mwjqmedicina alternativa già dal mwjgXVIII secolo ma le proprietà medicinali effettivamente dimostrate dalla ricerca scientifica sono più limitate. Risulta efficace nella mwjwleishmaniosicite-ref-4[4] e ha proprietà mwlaantifungine.
